Dear Prayer Warriors,

Greetings in our Savior's name! Praise Him all continues well with my recovery! Doctors continue to be pleased with my progress. I am driving again and even took a 40-minute walk this afternoon. The weather is nice and crisp.

News from Iquitos is good, too. Dee Donaldson called me Saturday night, and we enjoyed a nice, long chat. Pastor Abraham and Patsy emailed me on Monday, which was their first wedding anniversary. They sounded very encouraged. Four deaf boys professed Christ as Savior at Efata school recently. They are Erick, Andy, Alexander, and Luigi. Alexander has been coming to Sunday services the last couple of weeks, getting his parents to take him. He's a very bright little boy. Praise the Lord and keep praying for spiritual growth and understanding.

It seems that I have gotten things rather mixed up the past couple of weeks. The Trouts' time in Iquitos discussing the future of ABWE ministries there is this week instead of last week so they still need prayer. Then I misunderstood who it was who made decisions during the church anniversary in August. Martha and Jesus did not make any decisions at that time, though Raul and Marina did. So we need to still pray for Jesus' salvation. I will try to be more accurate in bringing you requests from the field.

May the Lord bless you all richly. Keep looking up!

Your sister in Christ,
Lynn Porter
