Dear Prayer Warriors,

Hi! Just a quick note to bring you up to date. Most of you have already heard that my biopsy came back positive for cancer. Yesterday I met with the surgeon, Dr. Porretta, and she went over various options. Right now I have a battery of tests - blood work, bone scan, CT scan, X-rays - coming up on Monday, March 8, and an appointment with an oncologist, Dr. Frakes, on Friday, March 5. Depending on the results from the tests, I will either have surgery first and then chemotherapy or vice versa. Because of the kind and size of the tumor, I will be having a mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy.

Thank you for your prayer support and especially for those of you who have taken the time to write me an encouraging note. The Lord is still on His throne and worthy of our love and trust. Nothing that happens to me is going to change that. Praise Him!
