Dear Prayer Warriors,

Greetings once more from Vista! Praise the Lord, He is answering our prayers!

Last Thursday's tests turned out to be "nonspecific" meaning that no cancer was found. I will be retested in a few months, probably before my surgery. That means that my chemotherapy treatment can begin immediately! If Scripps Hospital has a bed available tomorrow, that is when I will have my first treatment. Already I have begun with meds to take pre-treatment.

The insurance situation is looking very good as well, with the special MediCal program for breast cancer patients accepting to cover me for anything that my Blue Cross insurance does not pay for in regards to my cancer treatments. Praise the Lord!

There is good news from Iquitos as well. Betman accepted the Lord last Sunday and Roberto went forward to make sure of his salvation, too. Praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for Pastor Abraham and his wife Patsy. He will be commissioned as pastor of Efata Baptist Church on April 6. The devil is hard at work, too, so pray they will be aware of his devices and not be deceived by him. I have made a video to send to the church so they can see me talking to them in sign language. Pray that it will arrive safely and be an encouragement to them.

Thanks again for your interest and prayers. Your notes, cards, and calls have been an encouragement. Now I covet your prayers that this treatment plan will have the desired effect of clearing the cancer from my body. Thanks for praying.

Take care and keep looking up! God is still on the throne and we don't know when it will be our privilege to leave this world and kneel in His presence in Glory.

With love in Christ,
Lynn Porter
