Dear Prayer Warriors,

Greetings from Vista! Praise the Lord for making it through another chemotherapy treatment! The second treatment was last Wednesday, and after a rough weekend, I am feeling some better this week. Thank you for your prayer support!

One bright spot during the weekend was receiving over 20 letters from Peru. Deaf and hearing friends wrote them and sent them to the States with the Donaldsons. It was so nice to hear from all of them. :-) Please continue to pray for Efata Baptist Church for the deaf. Pastor Abraham was hospitalized with severe head pain Saturday night and is still being treated. His head pain and dizziness is gone, but he now has pain in his legs. Please pray for healing and for the Lord to work through this so He receives the glory. Praise the Lord for Andy and Carol Patton, short-term missionaries who made themselves available to help Abraham and Patsy during their time of need! Pray that deaf believers will seek the Lord and see His hand at work during this time when their spiritual leader is laid up with illness.

An answer to prayer for me concerns the airline ticket I was unable to use to return to Peru. AeroMexico refunded to me the unused portion of the ticket. Praise God for His blessings! He continues to show me His mercy, and everyday I find new reasons to praise Him. That airline will get more of my business. :-)
