Dear Prayer Warriors,
Thank you for your prayers! The Lord continues to bless and provide for me
as I trust He is doing for you as well.
Praise the Lord, I received encouragement and blessings from my time with
First Baptist Church of Santa Maria and from Berean Bible Church in Arroyo
Grande. The car is working well, and God has granted safety on the road.
Another praise is for continued good health. All the March tests were
negative for cancer. Thank you for praying!
Please pray for the next meetings coming up, for safety and strength in
traveling and that I will be a blessing to God's people:
4/17 Calvary Baptist Church, Burbank
4/24 Grace Baptist Church, Paso Robles
Iglesia Bautista de la Fe, Paso Robles
4/27 Iglesia Bautista Calvario, San Luis Obispo
4/30-5/1 Cedar Avenue Baptist Church, Fresno
5/4 First Baptist Church of Wilmington
Please continue praying for Efata Baptist Church in Iquitos. Pastor Abraham
has decided to devote himself 100% to the deaf ministry. There are 15 - 20
deaf children in the school. Rosa, who occasionally attended church, died
recently. I'm not sure she was saved. Two of the couples in the church are
trying to get their documents together to get married. Jennifer Kalnbach is
planning a visit to Iquitos this summer with a group from her church to hold
a VBS and also a weekend retreat for the deaf. Pray for the Donaldsons as
they attend services and seek to be an encouragement at Efata. They are
also in charge of the Bible institute this year and have 10 students.
The Cassidys have also written to request prayer for the resolution of their
court case. The judge should be handing down her decision within a month.
Pray that it will be favorable to them. Also, they are repairing their boat
in order to make a river trip to Tibi Playa where several made decisions for
Christ.
May the Lord richly bless you all. Keep looking up!
Your sister in Christ,
Lynn Porter
