Dear Prayer Warriors,

Thank you for your prayers. It is always encouraging to learn of others who are praying. Thank you for your phone calls and notes.

Dr. Frakes said this time that she may go ahead and do the six sessions of chemotherapy before the surgery. This is because the tumor is responding well to the chemo. God is answering our prayers. I am still awaiting word on the appointment to have the sonagram when the size of the tumor will be verified and the cancer "re-staged." It has been a little rougher this time to recuperate from the chemo, but God enables and gives peace. I'm having to learn more about patience. :-)

There is no new word from the deaf church in Iquitos. Please continue to pray for former pastor Serafin and his family in Lima. Pray for the leadership in the deaf church where they attend as they work with him and Doris and their children, David (15), Zulema (13), Abraham (8), and Abner (4). Brother Shane Rice and his family are the missionaries in the church at this time and would appreciate your prayers.
